Client Testimonial: PAM
  1. I went to one of Jesseca’s workshops in 2024 for healthcare professionals, Avoid Career Burnout. When I saw this offered on Linked In, I thought, I need to go to that workshop! I have quite a demanding job, which I love so much. I typically work 50-60 plus hours weekly, and many weeks I work 7 days a week. Rarely do I take time for self care or to focus on myself, and I am exhausted physically and emotionally. My mode of operation is to take care of everyone else, because it’s just what I’m familiar with. I went to her workshop which had many points that resonated with me. At the end of the workshop, she shared how she has a 12 week program. The next step was to have a free consult. At the consult, there was no question in my mind that I desperately needed her coaching, and the amazing journey began for me. I didn’t know what exactly I needed, but I knew for years that I needed something or someone to help me unpack what I couldn’t unpack on my own. Jesseca asked some really helpful questions that fine tuned what I didn’t even know myself. I realized that I didn’t have a “voice” with one of my directors. I didn’t know that I could have a voice or actually how to implement having a voice. While I am blessed to be successful in the role that I have, and my leaders trust me, there are areas where I realized I need to grow. Something that I have wondered about the last few years, is “can I continue with this pace until I retire at 65 years old?” Or should I change directions into a role that is more sustainable with 40 hours per week and less responsibility?
  2. I have learned it’s 100% okay to have a voice with my director. I have also learned it’s 100% okay to take moments for myself, even if it’s 5 minutes to lay on my back in my office when it doesn’t seem like there’s enough time in the day to do so. I needed someone neutral with wisdom to listen to what my days and weeks are like, to say, “how about we unpack your days and weeks and find ways for you to take care of yourself.” I have learned that journaling and putting thoughts into writing gives me a moment to step back and stop thinking about it for a few minutes, because it’s in written form, and I can refer back to it. This is a practice that I need to do more than rarely.
  3. Successes. I verbalized and practiced with Jesseca how to have that “voice” that I had never experienced having. Who knew that someone with a high level role felt she didn’t have a voice? I was now ready if another situation arose. As well, Jesseca helped me fine tune several goals. Beach vacations have been important to me through the years, but I haven’t prioritized that, so only do them every few years. Our conversations helped me realize that time away in a beach setting will help me decompress from the demands of my position. I then set a goal to plan two beach vacations per year. Then, the question remained about continuing in the role that I have until I’m 65 or do I go another direction? We circled back to that on the last official meeting together. I decided that I love the industry that I work in, so I do not want to go outside of that. I will still be open to exploring other opportunities if they come along. Knowing that I will have another beach vacation around the corner is what will fuel me.
  4. Coaching with Jesseca is the best career investment I have ever done for myself. She has a heart of gold. She listened unconditionally for many weeks. I shared my work successes, challenges, tears, frustrations, etc. It started professionally with my job, then it trickled over into some personal situations that I was reluctant to press into. Because I trusted her, I allowed her to speak wisdom into my life, and she encouraged me to work through some things that I wouldn’t allow to surface, because they were quite raw in my heart.
  5. Advice/wisdom. For anyone reading this testimonial, just do it! Choose to make the best investment possible for yourself professionally or personally, or really both. In 12 weeks or even less, you will see changes in yourself, with her wisdom and expertise that you will not have dreamed were possible.

Jesseca continues to make herself available to me if I need it.
